A fire in Dubai caused by an explosion of a container on a commercial ship has been brought under control, according to a government statement.

The massive blast that lit up the city happened at Jebel Ali port just after midnight local time, resulting in no casualties, the Dubai Media Office said on Twitter. A Dubai Civil Defense team worked to put out the blaze.

Jebel Ali port is now operating normally after blast, Arabiya reported.

The port is the largest in the Middle East and a key center for trade in the United Arab Emirates. Blast happened amid increased tension in the region of Iran’s nuclear program.
